Equipment CheckInterpretation

Equipment Check Statuses Explained

These labels are screening outcomes, not engineering sign-off labels.

Suitable

The selected hardware appears to meet the relevant requirement with acceptable margin under the current result assumptions.

Borderline

The selected hardware is close enough to require careful review. It may work in some contexts, but the margin is not comfortable.

Undersized

The selected value appears below the relevant requirement and is likely to be inadequate for the current version.

Oversized

The selected hardware is above the requirement. That is not automatically wrong, but it may indicate unnecessary cost, size, or mismatch relative to the current scenario.

Not provided means the field was left empty. Not applicable means that check did not apply to the current result context.
