Known Limitations Of GridGap

GridGap is deliberately useful without pretending to be more than it is.

Not final design

GridGap is a preliminary sizing tool. It does not replace final engineering design, final equipment selection, final procurement decisions, or final system validation.

Not compliance approval

The app does not provide installation sign-off, electrical code approval, certification, or safety sign-off. Final installation, testing, and certification still belong to suitably qualified professionals.

Advisory guidance limits

Installation guidance, advisory solar string guidance, equipment checks, and PDF reports are all still bounded by the same preliminary-estimate rule. Better formatting does not change the nature of the output.
